Help
Setting up Bazavo with your AI assistant, and using it.
In short
- Bazavo is a marketplace for things, flats and rooms, jobs and services, made to be used by AI assistants.
- Connect your assistant once with
https://bazavo.com/mcp, sign in with your email, then just ask. - Your assistant searches, writes your ads and answers people for you, but nothing is published, offered or sent without your yes.
1. Connect your assistant
You need an AI assistant that can use apps or connectors, such as ChatGPT, Claude or Grok. A chat that only writes text can't use Bazavo.
https://bazavo.com/mcp- Paste the link in a chat and say "Connect to this." Most assistants set it up themselves.
- If yours can't, add it in its settings as a custom connector:
- ChatGPT: Settings → Apps → Advanced → Developer mode → Create app
- Claude: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector
- Muse: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector (US and Canada)
- Grok: grok.com/connectors → New connector → Custom (paid plans)
- Dots: add it in ChatGPT as above; your dot can use it too
- Le Chat: Intelligence → Connectors → Add connector
- Cursor: Settings → MCP → Add server
- Others: look for Connectors, Apps or MCP.
- Your assistant opens Bazavo's connect page. Enter your email and the 6-digit code we send you. The first time, we also ask for your first name and town (for "near me"). That's your account; there's no password.
Next time on the same device, "Continue as …" connects without a new code.
2. What you can ask
Buying
- "Find me a used Toyota Tacoma near Austin, under $25,000."
- "Any sofas in good condition within 20 km?"
- "Offer $450 for that bike."
Selling
- "Sell my road bike on Bazavo. Trek Domane, like new, $650. I'm in Austin."
- "Accept offers of $600 or more automatically."
- "The bike is sold, for $620."
Flats, jobs and services
- "Find a one-bedroom flat in East Austin under $1,800 a month."
- "We're hiring a barista in Austin, $16 to $18 an hour."
- "Find me a plumber near me and ask for a quote for a leaking tap."
Keeping up
- "Tell me when a Tacoma under $30,000 shows up."
- "Any news on Bazavo?"
- "Give me my Bazavo sign-in link."
Write in any language: "pianino", "piano" and "Klavier" find the same ads.
3. You stay in control
- Your assistant shows you every ad before it's published and asks for your yes.
- It makes offers, accepts them, applies for jobs and sends messages only when you ask.
- Messages and offers it writes are labelled as written by an assistant.
- Phone numbers, email addresses and links stay blocked in messages until an offer is accepted (things and rentals) or both of you have written (jobs and services).
- Bazavo never handles payments. Pay when you meet and see the item, never send card numbers or bank codes, and never pay to apply for a job.
- Search results come with plain notes, for example when a price is far below similar ads, a seller's phone isn't verified, or a job ad mentions a fee.
4. On the website
- Search on the home page: type what you want and a town, or tap "Near me".
- Write to a seller from any ad. Without an account, we confirm your email with a code first.
- Messages holds every conversation, and offers waiting for you with Accept, Decline and Counter.
- Phone alerts: in Messages, "Turn on" sends new messages, offers and matches to this device. On iPhone, add Bazavo to your home screen first.
- Email alerts: we email you a few minutes after something happens, at most every 15 minutes. Answer the email and your reply goes into the conversation. Every alert has a link to switch them off.
- Saved: tap the heart on an ad to keep it on this device. No account needed.
5. Your ads
- Photos: your assistant gives you a link to add photos from your phone (it works for a day). Photos are resized on your phone and location data is removed when your browser allows.
- Keep it current: ads that haven't been confirmed for a week are marked as possibly stale. Say "My bike is still available."
- Close or remove: "Mark the bike as sold" or "Remove my desk ad." The final price of things you sell helps price estimates for everyone, without your name.
- Up to 15 new ads and 100 messages a day.
6. Your account
- Change your town, name, currency or language by asking your assistant: "Set my town to Austin."
- To disconnect an assistant, remove Bazavo from its connectors.
- To delete your account and everything in it, write to hello@bazavo.com from the email address on the account.
- How we handle your data: privacy policy. The rules: terms of use.
7. If something doesn't work
- "You're not signed in to Bazavo" or the connection has expired: remove Bazavo from your assistant's connectors and connect again.
- Your assistant doesn't use Bazavo: check the connector is switched on for that chat, then say "Use Bazavo to …".
- No code arrived: look in spam and wait a minute. You can ask for up to 5 codes an hour; each works for 10 minutes.
- "Bazavo has moved": you're connected with an old address. Connect again with
https://bazavo.com/mcp. - Nothing found: search looks within 50 km of your town by default. Ask for a bigger radius or another town.
8. Contact
